Storyline Kids is not childcare, it is discipleship. We believe the gospel shapes our kids from the very beginning, and that God can work in any person’s heart regardless of age. In our Nursery classrooms, Storyline Kids leaders spend the morning praying over your infants and singing gospel truths, trusting the Lord to use even these early moments to form faith. As your kids grow closer to preschool age, leaders begin gently introducing gospel truth at their level, helping them take their first steps in discipleship through our 40 Key Events and 10 Foundational Truths.

Sundays Background checked volunteers will spend time playing with babies and toddlers, praying the 10 Foundational Truths over them, and making sure they’re content while parents attend service.

    Preschool | (2-4 years old)

Our 40 Key Events and 10 Foundational Truths are at the heart of how we disciple kids in Storyline Kids. When your child turns 3, they move into our Preschool rooms, where they experience large group worship built around these gospel truths for the first time. Kids learn in community as they play, sing, and build friendships with one another. Through simple small group questions and shared snack time, we help them begin to understand the good news of Jesus and what it means to belong to God’s family.

    K-3rd Grade

The Bible is God’s true Word. As kids enter elementary school, they begin learning how to read and understand for themselves, and discipleship in Storyline Kids grows alongside them. Along with the large group worship they came to love in Preschool, elementary kids now read Scripture together before large group. Our leaders help kids engage God’s Word, ask questions, and discover that the Bible is for them as they learn what it looks like to follow Jesus with growing confidence.

    4th & 5th Grade

Middle school is just around the corner. As kids enter 4th and 5th grade, we want to give them space to build deeper relationships and engage Scripture more intentionally. While our 40 Key Events and 10 Foundational Truths stay the same, the structure of the classroom shifts to invite more discussion, interaction, and application. Kids are encouraged to apply God’s Word to their everyday lives as they prepare to follow Jesus with increasing independence and a growing sense of mission.

Sundays Children will gather for large group worship, then break into smaller groups for Scripture reading, discussion, and application. Leaders come alongside kids to ask good questions, hear their thoughts, and help them grow in their confidence to follow Jesus.

camp

This summer, Storyline Kids is hosting camp for a week that your kids will never forget. With the theme Jesus Is King, campers will explore what it means to follow the greatest King who ever lived through games, worship, Bible teaching, adventures, and friendships that last.

Whether they're conquering game time or gathering around Scripture, every moment points back to the one truth that changes everything: Jesus reigns over all of it: every mountain, every moment, every kid at camp.

    Family Dedication

At Storyline Church our prayer is that families would be following Jesus, in a family, on mission and Family Dedication is the first of five milestones designed to help you do this as you live in God's story.

Family Dedication begins with dinner. At this dinner, we will share how Storyline Church partners with parents and talk about simple rhythms that help families live in God’s story by reading God’s story together. The whole family is invited, and childcare is available with registration.

Family Dedication will take place during services on Sunday. When you register, you will select your service preference. Register today and take this meaningful step in the discipleship of your family.

    Baptism

As our kids grow into elementary and middle school years, their world begins to expand quickly. Friends, sports, and activities begin to shape what matters most to them. In a season like this, there is no better time to lean into conversations about the gospel and baptism.

Our Family Discipleship Baptism Class is designed to equip parents to lead these conversations with wisdom and confidence. Together, we will talk about how to help your kids follow Jesus, in a family, on mission and how simple rhythms like learning to live in God’s story by reading God’s story can shape their faith for years to come.

Register today and take a step toward discipling your child in this important season.

  • A presentation slide titled 'Middle School Blessing' with a subtitle 'Family Discipleship Milestones'. The slide features a blue and white background with green text and a large number 4, indicating milestone 4, from Storyline Church.

    Middle School Blessing

As your child prepares to enter 6th grade, we gather to celebrate God’s faithfulness during their elementary years and call them into deeper discipleship as they begin their journey in Storyline Students.

During the evening, parents will read a short letter of blessing over their student, speaking words of love, encouragement, and prayer. Each student will also receive a Bible as a reminder that God has given us his Word so we can live in God’s story by reading God’s story.

Register today to celebrate your incoming 6th grader and this important step of following Jesus, in a family, on mission.

  • Title slide for Mission Trip 6, focusing on family discipleship milestones, presented by Storyline Church, Milestone 2.

    Mission Trip

A Storyline Mission Trip gives students an opportunity to be commissioned to live on mission, spreading the good news of Jesus to our neighbors and the nations. Through intentional training, Storyline equips students to become disciple makers on a domestic or international short-term trip.

  • Milestone 5 of a family discipleship series from Storyline Church, titled 'Senior Commissioning,' featuring a large number 5, a church logo at the bottom, and a color scheme of blue and light gray.

    Senior Commissioning

Senior Commissioning is the final Family Discipleship Milestone. As our seniors prepare to step into a new season of life, we gather to thank God for his faithfulness and to send them out to continue following Jesus, in a family, on mission.

Senior Commissioning begins with dinner. This evening will be a time to honor each senior, celebrate the work God has done in their lives, and speak words of blessing as they prepare for what comes next.

Seniors will then be commissioned during services on Sunday as our church family prays for them and sends them out to live in God's Story, on mission for King Jesus.

Register today and join us as we celebrate and commission our graduating seniors.
