We exist to come alongside 6-12th graders at Storyline Church as they take ownership of their God-given calling to live in God’s story by knowing Jesus and loving people.

5-7 p.m.

Middle and high school students are invited to come hang with the Student Family on Sunday Nights! Students can expect time to hang out with friends, worship, learn from God’s Word, and small group discussions. Oh! And there’s free pizza! We hope to see you there!

FAQs

  • We aim to disciple students to live in God’s story and find the good life that is found in Jesus. Throughout their time in Storyline Students, teenagers will hear the Gospel proclaimed in at every gathering, having Scripture be their guide to know God and love all people.

    Throughout our three year scope, the Christian story will be unpacked through 8 Threads of the Christian Story, 7 Major Christian Beliefs, and 6 Christian Formations in order to know Jesus and love all people.

  • Once students are in 6th grade, they are able to (and encouraged) to serve!

  • When your kids are at Storyline, we desire to provide a safe environment for them to learn about Jesus. We have security measures, onboarding processes, and training for all the leaders who serve in our ministry.

  • During the summer, we take a break from our regularly planned student programming. In June, we focus on serving. Students have the opportunity to join mission trips (local, continental, and international) as well as serve at our annual Kids Camp. In July we focus on community by hosting weekly Bible study opportunities as well as weekly summer activities!

  • We are always looking for adults to serve in student ministry! Teenagers face so much today and need adults in their lives to help them navigate the good and the bad. If you’re interested in serving and discipling our students, head over to our serve page.

  • We love the opportunity to talk with students and their parents about baptism! If you are a follower of Jesus and want to take this next step of obedience, fill out this form and we will schedule a conversation with you.

Family Discipleship Milestones

  • Family Dedication

    Family Dedication is a public commitment by both parents and Storyline Church. Parents dedicate themselves to the task of gospel-centered parenting and Storyline Church commits to coming alongside them as they make disciples at home.

  • Preschool Parenting Foundations

    Preschool Parenting Foundations equips parents with Biblical wisdom for essential elements of parenting as they enter into a new season of growth in the life of their family.

  • Baptism

    Baptism is a celebration of a child’s personal belief in the gospel, publicly proclaiming their sacred confession that Jesus Christ is Lord. Each child baptized at Storyline will have completed our Baptism Class alongside a parent/guardian.

  • Middle School Blessing

    Middle School Blessing acknowledges the beginning of your child's growth from a kid to an adult, calling them into deeper involvement and deeper discipleship in the church. Parents are tasked with blessing their rising 6th grader through writing and reading aloud a letter to their child, expressing their love, support, hopes, and prayers for their future.

  • High School Blessing

    High School Blessing recognizes students as they enter the final stages of their discipleship at home. Parents will bless their rising 9th grader through writing and reading aloud a letter to their child as they continue to show them the good life is found in Jesus.

  • Mission Trip

    A Storyline Mission Trip gives students an opportunity to be commissioned to live on mission, spreading the good news of Jesus to our neighbors and the nations. Through intentional training, Storyline equips students to become disciple makers on a domestic or international short-term trip.

  • Senior Commissioning

    Senior Commissioning serves as the capstone event for family discipleship, commissioning students out from childhood into adulthood. This milestone affirms their growth into adulthood, honors parents, and commissions graduates to be sent into the next phase of their lives.
